The loading bar stops
The first load includes around 80 MB of compressed game files. Leave the tab in the foreground and give the download time, especially on mobile data. The loading bar shows progress; after the files arrive, the browser still has to initialize the engine.
- Check that your connection is still working.
- If the player reports an interrupted download, press Try again.
- Close other memory-heavy tabs, then try once more.
- If the issue continues, compare with the official itch.io player.
Reloading the entire page also resets the current game session. Avoid doing that while a transaction or dialogue is in progress.
A black screen or browser crash
The browser game uses WebGL. An old browser, unavailable graphics support or low available memory can prevent the scene from appearing. Try an updated browser and close other heavy apps.
If the page shows a missing-feature message, follow the specific requirement it lists. If only your phone repeatedly crashes, use a desktop browser or the matching official desktop version.
A successful webpage load does not necessarily mean the game engine has finished starting. Wait for the player’s loading overlay to disappear before expecting the Start menu.
The game is quiet
Click or tap inside the game so the browser can activate its audio, then check the device volume and whether the browser tab is muted. Headphones can make quieter details easier to hear.
On a phone, returning from another app can interrupt the audio session. Tap inside the game again. If audio still fails, try the official player to compare before restarting and losing progress.
Touch does the wrong thing
Use a short tap to pick up or drop an item. Hold only when you want the game’s return-item action. If the next tap checks a price instead, the Price button is active; tap it again to cancel.
Use the Look arrows to reach the shelves, sachets, fridge and counter. Rotate to landscape when the targets feel too small. Avoid browser zoom while operating the game because it changes the space available to the player.
Mare is stuck, or the payment looks wrong
Players on the official itch.io page have reported Mare staying at the counter after receiving items, and a payment of ₱53 against an expected ₱58. Those are player reports; the developers have not identified a confirmed fix for that particular transaction in the release notes linked below.
Before restarting, check every requested item and quantity, finish visible dialogue, and recount the payment. An expected total of ₱58 against ₱53 paid means a ₱5 shortfall; it does not tell us whether the scene is scripted or affected by a bug.
If it still will not continue, note the last dialogue, order and amounts. You can share a precise report in the official comments. For a website control problem, contact this site with your device and browser.
The Restart button asks before reloading the game. Your current in-game progress may be lost.
